Ron Chartrand
Ron Chartrand was born in St. Laurent, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg in 1959. He has been married to his wife, Ferne, for 30 years. They have two children, Todd and Nicole, and two grandchildren, Alex Dumas and Isabelle Skead.
Ron's education began in St. Laurent, where he attended St. Laurent elementary school. Continuing his education in Winnipeg, he graduated with his Grade 12 from Daniel MacIntyre Collegiate.
Ron has extensive experience in the area of athletics. He has 25 years of coaching experience at the Local and Provincial Level, and is a Certified Level 1 NCCP Theory Course Conductor. He is also a Certified Level 1 NCCP Softball Technical Course Conductor.
Ron has been involved in the community in several volunteer positions for almost 30 years. He has more than 20 years of experience at the Community Club level in different capacities. He is currently Co-Chair of the Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Council and Sports Director at the Freighthouse Community Center.
He has contributed numerous hours promoting Metis events and functions throughout North America. Ron is also an active member of the Liberty Local. Recently, he has worked for Inner City Renovations and has been a Sport Consultant with the Manitoba Aboriginal Sport and Recreation Council.
He was elected Vice President of the MMF Winnipeg Region on March 26th, 2003.

Dina De La Ronde
Dina De La Ronde is originally from Duck Bay and now resides in the Point Douglas community, participating in various cultural initiatives whenever possible. Dina is currently employed with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Community Facilitator. Other employment has included positions as Director of Métis Child and Family Support Services, Developmental Team Member for the Métis Child and Family Services Authority and contract work for various organizations.
In addition to her formal employment, Dina has lent her skills and experience to numerous boards and community committees including the Winnipeg Indian & Métis Friendship Centre Board of Directors, Freight House Board of Directors, North Point Douglas Renewal Corporation Board of Directors, North Point Douglas Women's Centre Board of Directors, Point Douglas, Downtown, Inkster Parent/Child Coalitions and the St. John's Library Task Force.

Claire Riddle
Claire Riddle was born and raised in Eddystone, Manitoba to Arsene Joseph Spence and Adeline Philomen nee Chartrand. She has four brothers and three sisters. She is married to George John Riddle and they have four sons: Robert, Francis, John and James.
Claire has been involved with the MMF for many years. Her employment history includes working with the Unemployment Insurance Commission, MMF, Canadian Aboriginal Economic Development Strategy, Opportunities for Employment and is currently working with the Residential Tenancies Office of the Province of Manitoba.
Claire was reelected as a Director for the Winnipeg Region in May 2000. She is currently serving as the Chair of Metis Rights and represents Manitoba at the Metis Rights Panel of the Metis National Council.
