The objectives of the Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF), as set out in its constitution, are as follows:

To promote the history, culture and pride of Metis People.

To increase the awareness of its members with respect to legal, political, social and other Aboriginal rights.

To promote the participation of Metis People in the community, municipal, provincial, federal, Aboriginal or any other organization.

To promote the political, social and economic interests of its Metis People.
