Road to Gold's coordinator, Thomas Parenteau, was able to take part in a unique experience in the 2010 Winter Olympics. He was chosen to participate with other Metis people to represent in the opening ceremony on Friday, February 12. Currently, he is British Columbia bound and will practice for two weeks. On the big day, Thomas will be wearing traditional Metis clothing so be sure to glue your eyes on your television screens to see him with everyone else.
